One hundred years ago the village was founded by the nomadic people who’s livelihoods even to this very day is dependent on rearing cattle or livestock.

For this reason the nomads would spend the harsh winter months in the village and in the extreme summer heat, migrate to higher plains where availability of green pastures and water is abundant.

Throughout the villages history there has always been an abundance of natural spring water which occurred together with the Pure Village Life Project.

In conjuction with the Pure Village Life Project, the project enabled fresh, drinking water to be made accessable to the villages of Begiç and the neighbouring village of Samanlik. We are very happy to have made a significant contribution..
For a story of a day in the village…….
