• The village houses comprising of two levels have been painstakingly restored incorporating the hundred year old traditional building method of stone and wood, The lower level were originally used as a stable or barn.

On the upper level, two rooms were restored with local cedar wood maintaining the homes integrity and character.
  • These houses were built many years ago using tools such as axes, sledgehammers and hammers which were applicable for the period.

The stones sourced locally were broken away from the rockface using sledgehammers and brought back for construction.

(The weaving of the rocks have been derived from this rock breaking method).
